What is the difference between Local dishes and Local food

Local Food, what I would like to focus on here mainly is Japanese locals' favorite food or Cheap Local Dish, which is not "Local dishes" because local dishes are traditional ones that have been eaten in various areas in Japan from ancient times, and are different from local food(locally special dishes) or gotochi-gurume(local gourmets) (for example, gotochi-ramen), used for revitalizing villages.

For example, the followings are local dishes:

Anagomeshi (conger rice) is a local dish from the Setouchi area in Hiroshima Prefecture.

Saba-zushi is one of local dishes in the region of Wakasa Province, Kyoto City and Sanin region.

Funa-zushi, a local specialty of Shiga Prefecture, is a type of nare zushi (fermented sushi) made with crucian carp.

Saba no heshiko, it was chosen as one of the hundred best local dishes from rural areas in December.

Hitsumabushi is a regional cuisine made with eel that is eaten mainly in the Nagoya area.

Mehari-zushi is also one of the local dishes in Nara and Wakayama Prefectures (and in the Kumano region of Mie Prefecture).

So, there is the difference between Local dishes(Official) and Local Food(Cheap).

The Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries reviews local dishes as part of the culinary culture, and the ministry is due to choose the 100 best dishes for fiscal 2007 in order to find local dishes that use their own local foodstuffs for the purposes of publicizing them nationwide.

Note: Actually, the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries chose the 99 best dishes, not the 100 best dishes. Because the last one should be chosen by everyone, so the 99 items are selected intentionally.

I would like to focus on local food mainly, because it is easy to introduce, however, would like to try to introduce both as much as I can.
